They lead learning experiences, public interventions, and intercultural dialogue to integrate urban development and artistic creation.

They are a group of artists spear headed by renowned artist; Musah Swallah known for his amazing paintings on wood, Aminu Larry and Robin united with the common objective to use art as a call to action.

These artists believe that creative thinking and cultural production will be critical tools for Ghana’s rising global development.

They therefore organise free workshops every Saturday between the hours of 2pm-4pm in painting and photography for children and the youth of Nima.

The aim, according to the group is to give an opportunity to young upcoming artists in Nima who do not have the means or required training to learn and build upon their artistic talents which is often disregarded by their parents based on religious beliefs.

They also engage in Mural paintings which they use to educate the general public. The exhibition will consists of artworks from students who have been participating in the free workshop and will also serve as a means to clear the bad perception about the Nima community in Ghana which has been perceived by many over the years as a boisterous Muslim community.

The exhibition which will run from Wednesday 11th May to Tuesday, 7th June from 9am-9pm each day (except during activities) at Alliance Française Accra Exhibition Hall is under the theme; ‘Art Through Ages’. The opening of the exhibition will take place on Wednesday, 11th May at 6:30pm. It will be followed by a cocktail reception.

Join in celebrating the development of urban art in Ghana and experience homemade art at its finest.
