Budding Ghanaian female musician, Okailey verse better known as OV wins the 7th edition of MTN Hitmaker reality show. The grand finale of the show held live across the nation on GhOneTv saw the deep female vocalist walked away with a whopping 100,000Gh recording deal after months of competing with other strong contestants like Awal, Amakye and the rest.

She is the second female to win the reality show after Freda rhymes who is currently trading her career under D-Black’s Black Avenue Music. Her win also signifies the influence of Reggae and dancehall musician, Stonebwoy’s music on the young generation since she mentored the multiple awards winner.
In the days to come she will start he media tour to thank the fans for their support and probably give hints about her preferred record label to work with in Ghana and beyond.
MTN Hit maker is one of the longest reality shows that has consistently produced stars including, Kulz songs, Kidi and Kuami of Lynx Entertainment who over the weekend won “Discovery of the year” at the just ended Afrimma awards held in Accra, Ghana.
