When it comes to Artistes who find live performances as a piece of cake, not many names can come up. Indeed the likes of Efya, Samini are among the few powerhouses making tremendous waves in the craft on stage when it comes to live performances.
No wonder most live music events in the country do not possess the needed aura when these names come up missing on the list of performers.

Here in the Volta region, however, many of the region’s Artistes have been lauded for their craft, which has its own added ewe flavor.

One such artiste, Venunye Kwaku Teku, known in Showbiz circles as Venunye, is making waves in the region with notable hits such as “Shugar”, among others has proven beyond words, his stage prowess and his ability to leave his fans captivated and yearning for more.

Venunye, who spoke to host of Playhouse, Bright Ellis on Kuul103.5fm , Saturday, says he can perform outside his comfort zone.
“I just don’t like miming or lip syncing with my own songs. With the kind of music I do, Highlife & soul, it is best performed live” he added.

Venunye, during a listening session of his EVOLUTION EP last Saturday, took the time to explain all five songs on the EP, including We are one, Shugar, Dedu, Adjoa Atta and My Love.

Venunye who has performed at notable events such as Miss Tourism Ghana, Miss Supranational Ghana, British Council, Kuul FM’s corporate Banquet among others says his EVOLUTION EP was to get up close and personal with the listening audience and also to bare all before them.

Be sure to link up Venunye for a spectacular delivery of his songs at your next event.
