The Ghana Tourism Development Company (GTDC) has announced encouraging early results from its digital tourism platforms, the Ghana Tourism Investment Platform (GTiP) and the Ghana Tourism Marketplace (GTM), signaling strong potential to drive tourism investment, increase visitor spending, and promote sustainable tourism growth in Ghana.
The GTiP platform currently showcases a variety of tourism investment opportunities across Ghana, with eco-tourism projects leading the listings. Meanwhile, the GTM platform recorded live bookings during the December festive season, generating over GH₵25,000 from curated tours, events, and experiences.
GTDC officials say the platforms validate the company’s digital strategy to position Ghana as a transparent, data-driven, and competitive tourism destination.
The early success of GTiP and GTM is expected to attract local and international investors, enhance visitor experiences, and contribute significantly to the growth of Ghana’s tourism industry.
