Elon Musk’s AI company, xAI, has announced a $300 million partnership with Telegram to integrate its Grok AI chatbot into the messaging platform. The deal, which spans one year, will allow Telegram’s one billion+ users to access Grok’s AI capabilities.
Telegram will receive half of the revenue from xAI subscriptions sold through the platform, strengthening its financial position. The partnership is expected to boost AI accessibility, offering features like chat summaries, text editing, and moderation tools.
This move positions xAI as a strong competitor in the AI space, rivaling platforms like ChatGPT and Google Gemini. While Musk confirmed the agreement is still in principle, Telegram CEO Pavel Durov expressed confidence in the collaboration, stating that users will soon experience “the best AI technology on the market”
