Ohene Aces is a Rapper, songwriter,and a singer, who grew up as a hip hop/hip hife/ afro pop Artist. He believes that there is no sound which is canal or not spiritual as the words conveying the concept of music .
Born to Ghanaian parents but raised by a single parent as result of broken home, Aces spent some number of years with his grandmother at Jasikan a town in the newly created Oti region and but later have to move to Accra/Nima to be precised to stay with his mother to further his education.
His love for music grew at a tender age of 8 where he used to learn popular songs to perform during Music and Dance lessons which was part of the basic school curriculum.
His sound is a blend of Hip hop, high life and Afro beats, his style of rapping and delivering bars is exquisite and unique.
He aims to create an engaging and entertaining sound that gives an insight into his influences as a person who believes that up and coming artists also should have their own vibe. He raps about love, Life, social issues and events around us. Some of the people that inspired him to do music his type of music are Obrafour, Sarkodie, Guru, Edem, Strongman, Amerado,Medikal, Fancy Gadame, Kuami Eugene etc.
TEENS AGE
Ohene Aces attended Jasikan L.A Basic sch, later left to Accra New town St. John’s, then to Accra Newtown Experimental ‘1’ JHS. He completed his Senior High School Education at Anum Presby SHS in the Eastern region. He was part of the school Entercom and SRC board.
Apart from music and education, he’s also business enterpreneur and an online marketer.
•In 2016, he recorded his first song titled ‘New King’ which was pure raps, Later he has to put the music on hold to go under study so he can be a proffesional, he got himself under the Mic Burners Music a record label situated in Kumasi, where he learned a lot about music, his past experiece of moving with the likes of Strongman and Amerado has really boosted his maturity in what ever he does in the showbiz.
•In 2018 He decided to chase his music carrer where recorded his first ever single that brought him into the limelight titled ‘Black Sunday’ featuring Slim i, and many other singles which gave him the exposure.
He’s currently the reigning Artist Of The Year at the just Ended Oti Media/Music awards, which is a great achievement to his music carrer as an up coming Artist.
He is Managed by a group of few people under Hes own record label Called 5 Fame Records , which has currently announce its doors openned to investors who want to invest into the young talent and showbiz.
He has released couple of songs and shot music videos which are really doing well under 5 Fame Records, With some hit songs as ‘why the hate, Mor yor, Face off, Only you,Grind All Day, Deadly, Ya sisi Yaso, Ma mind Dey etc’ the young talent sounds very promising and very talented.
Ohene Aces is here to stay and he’ll be bringing a new and different style vibe, and lyrics to the Ghanaian music industry.
