Every day, we encounter countless events which transforms into stories worth telling. Ghanaian based Nigerian singer, Elevated shares intriguing tales about life on his forthcoming EP, “Life Story”, set for release on Friday, September 9 via a mini launch at Kegali Hotel, South Odorkor.
“Everyone has a story. As a musician, I want to share my intimate life’s adventures with my fans and music lovers anywhere in the world. From where I come from, to where I am now, I felt the need to share my story with everyone; that’s what this EP is about. It’s about moving towards the light after dark days,” says Elevated.
The 8-track Afrobeats dominated musical project features bubbly Ghanaian songbird, Efya and Award-winning Dancehall Chap, Epixode. ‘Life Story’ is a body of work with a wide range of lyricism, quality production and excellent vocal delivery. Production credit goes to VT Kingsville except for Track No.1, titled ‘FOF’ which is produced by Obey.

Born Daniel Oche Benjamin, Elevated originally hails from Benue State in Nigeria. He discovered his passion for music at an early age. His music style his heavily influenced by Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti and Nigerian music icon, 2baba. His music is deep rooted in African culture and social values, and also represents the new Africa generation. Since he broke into the scene with his 2019 single, “Nonsense”, Elevated has been on a ride that never stops.
