“I Overcome” is also a declaration song, that revitalises our hope in times of challenges which appear to overwhelm us atimes. The song charges us to look to Jesus in the midst of challleges and strife and to draw on the unwavering assurance of the word of God that we shall Overcome! -Isisah 43:2.
The words of the song iterate that even though the mountains, storms and the attacks of the enemy threatens us, we shall Overcome in Jesus’ name and by the blood of the lamb.

This song like all the songs on the album has a powerful message and reaffirms Edith Maafo as a consummate song writer and gospel minister.
The video directed by award winning film director Kofi Awuah is awesome with spectacular scenes of mountains, valleys and waterfalls and really carries the message of hope across. If God can feed and protect the wild animals of the field, then surely he has you in mind.
