‪The detect comes at the back of paragliding festival launch which took place in Accra yesterday, Thursday 4th January, 2018 by the Ghana Tourism Authority.‬

‪The paragliding festival is one of the major activities that attract tourists from all walks of life during every Easter period to Kwahu bringing together a number of people including foreigners, investors and natives of Kwahu in the diaspora.‬

‪According to Friday 5th January 2018 edition ofthe Ghanaian times, the Ghana tourism Authority has expanded the paragliding flights to increase the number of flights during this year’s paragliding festival. The paper reports that, instead of one flight at a time in previous editions, which was insufficient for the huge number of revelers, the expanded site can now accommodate four flights at a time.‬

‪At the launch of this year’s festival, acting Chief executive officer of GTA, Mr. Akwasi Agyemang said the number of foreign pilots had also been increased to 10 adding the 2018 festival which is on the theme: ‘’You too can fly’’, is scheduled for March 30 to April 2, 2018”.‬

‪However, the chief of Atibie in the Kwahu South District, Nana Berimah Kwame Asante Betiani II, in an interview with Agoo news’ *Ebenezer Kojo Nyavor (K-Lover)* has quizzed the brain behind the launching saying, “how can you always avoid holding the launch on Kwahu soils where the festival usually takes place?‬

‪He expressed dissatisfaction over launching the festival in Accra and condemned the Tourism ministry for their late invitation.‬

‪Nana Berimah Kwame Asante Betiani II revealed invitation was sent to him a day to the program adding, “the boss called me to confirm the invitation but that was a day before the launching which is unfair”.‬

‪‘’How can you launch such activity without the notice of Kwahu-Hene Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II and me?’’ He questioned.‬
