Ghanaian music star Black Sherif, known in private life as Mohammed Ismail Sharrif, has extended a generous hand to unprivileged mothers at the Nkrumah and Yebuah Wards of the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.
The award-winning artiste donated large quantities of assorted items and fully settled the medical bills of several mothers, amounting to GH¢50,696.00. The gesture brought relief and excitement to beneficiaries and hospital staff alike.
The donation was made under the Mohammed Ismail Sharrif Foundation, the charitable organisation established by the musician to support vulnerable groups in society.
The initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 3.1, which focuses on reducing global maternal mortality and ensuring access to safe and quality maternal healthcare for women.
Black Sherif’s act of kindness has been widely praised, with many describing it as a powerful reminder of the impact compassion and collective responsibility can have on lives and communities.
