Shai Hills Agriculture Farm Limited has announced an ambitious plan to generate $800,000 in monthly revenue beginning May 2026, driven by large-scale cultivation, processing, and export of Moringa powder from Ghana.
The project, which is based at Akuse Junction in the Eastern Region, is part of the company’s broader goal to position Ghana as a leading exporter of high-quality Moringa products to international markets. Moringa, often referred to as the “miracle tree,” is highly valued for its nutritional, medicinal, and cosmetic benefits — making it one of the most sought-after organic products worldwide.
Speaking from the farm’s headquarters, Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Calvin Daniels, emphasized Ghana’s vast agricultural potential and the need for a renewed national commitment to harness natural resources responsibly for economic growth.
“Ghana is blessed with fertile land, hardworking people, and abundant natural resources. What we need is consistent effort and a shared vision to transform these gifts into tangible opportunities for our people,” Mr. Daniels stated.
He disclosed that the company’s operations would go beyond farming and exportation. The initiative aims to employ hundreds of Ghanaian artisans, youth, and agricultural experts, offering skills training and stable income sources.
As part of its long-term social investment strategy, Shai Hills Agriculture Farm Limited also plans to build schools and hospitals within surrounding communities to improve education and healthcare access. The company believes these projects will contribute to sustainable community development while reducing rural-urban migration.
Mr. Daniels reiterated that the Moringa project represents a model for how agribusiness can be both profitable and socially impactful, calling on both government and private sector partners to support similar ventures that promote local empowerment and export diversification.
