Ghanaian journalist and communication expert, Pearl Naa Ashong urges students to take basic communication lessons seriously. She made this call during Schools Support Project outreach at Luom Presy Basic School located in the Shai Osudoku district of the Greater Accra region.

She also added that basic communication skills are now a prerequisite in becoming successful in the field of work besides your academic grades. On job avenues available in communication, she explained she’s happy in her area of interest as a communication expert and voice-over artist behind some of the popular radio and television adverts on Ghanaian television.
She also appealed to teachers to make lessons on communication interesting for the students to participate in, adding that there are good fortunes in pursuing communication as a career.
Pearl Naa Ashong who currently works at the Ministry of Foreign affairs was at Luom as part of plans for her post-birthday donation in collaboration with Schools Support Project where she donated three hundred copies of exercise books out the one thousand she presented to the charity organization as her contribution towards the improvement of classroom education.
