His major breakthrough in Ghana and other parts of Africa was when his song , “Do the dance” went viral. The song made it to many Ghanaian charts including heavy streams on many online stores including Boomplay.

According to Eddie Khae, that season is over and it’s time to switch it up to the next level full of creative ideas, style and message that cuts across many spheres.

Eddie Khae weeks ago released his debut Ep, “The switch” exclusively via Boomplay;the most powerful native streaming platform in Africa.

The Ep has 8 eight songs including the remix of “Do the dance” featuring Pappy Kojo, Kuami eugene and Medikal.

After “The switch intro”, the musician touched on some down moments in relationships like “Broken heart” and “Trust issues” both songs features Kelvynboy and Kofi mole simultaneously.

“Chills” is an upgrade of “Do the dance” a song made purposely for hang outs with friends at anytime of the day. To play fair, he also featured silky vocalist, Cina soul on “Lobi” one of the lovely track on the Ep.

The album is not a strict Eddie khae kind of composition but exploitation of new ideas and reality to a larger extent.
