The Praye music group’s comeback (with Cartel Bigj and Mayor Kente) in 2015 was well received by Ghanaians when they stole the show in Kumasi last year. With their ‘return match’ as Cartel Bigj (Praye Tietia) calls it, they are “coming back like the Terminator will full energy and super-packed performance than was witnessed last year” when they played at the Baba Yara Stadium.
“This is the time we all as one need to come together and celebrate ourselves as a peaceful nation and in the joy of Ghana’s Independence which Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and other key people fought for to liberate us, we need to extend that legacy in a colourful occasion as this one. We urge all our fans and fans of other artistes on bill to come so we have fun together and know ourselves more”, Praye Tietia added.
Praye with back to back hit’s such as “Angelina, Jacket”, just to mention a few are sure to wow fans better this time with their thrilling and energetic performances.
Praye stands as one of the best music group performers. Their inclusion in Freedom Concert 2016 by Reflects Gh has just come right in time when the ‘just revived’ group is up with new singles and a set album release later in the year or early 2017. The group believes major platforms like this would help them ‘commune’ with their fans more and add more numbers before they start putting out their new projects.
#FreedomConcert2016 dubbed “Promoting peace and nationalism” would be playing in Kumasi on March 5 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and plays another on March 6 at the La Pleasure Beach – and Praye would be playing both concerts as well. There is major anticipation by fans to see Samini and Shatta Wale who are the key headliners to share a common vibe on stage with these 2 concerts. Also playing on both concerts are Obrafour, Tic Tac, Kwaw Kese, and ace acotor cum comedian Gh Lil Wayne.
