Since bursting into the Ghanaian music scene in 2017 with the singles ‘Ghana Lady’ and ‘Nana Yaa’, Ghana based Danish Afro-Pop artist, Toby Tabu has returned with a new single to kick-start the year 2018. Titled ‘Do Your Tin’, the song features ‘Dear God’ hitmaker and Tema based rapper, B4Bonah.
Programmed by Danish producer, Alex Palm and recorded by MimLife’s in-house producer, Zodiac Beatz, ‘Do Your Tin’ talks about working hard and staying humble when you achieve success, as summed up by the lyric, ”They don’t even know your struggle”.
Toby Tabu knew instantly after writing the hook of the song that B4Bonah would be the best feature for this jam. ‘’B4Bonah is what I would call a real artist, and the essence of ‘doing your tin’ can be shown in the new Tema movement B4Bonah is heading. Therefore I knew he would be the perfect match to take this song to the next level”, says Toby Tabu.
Filmed in Kokrobite and Tema, the music video portrays the song’s flavor and street vibes Toby Tabu and B4Bonah appeals to the Ghanaian youth with the message of doing your thing and following your dreams. The music video was directed and edited by Toby Tabu himself and filmed by Wavy Vibrations photographers, Jeffrey Atsuson and Eli Davson.
