Renowned Ghanaian musician, Ahmmed Kanneh Larweh, well known as Sparqlyn has finally met the Paramount Chief Of Manya Krobo traditional area following his recent enstoolment as a sub-chief in the area.
Sparqlyn, who is currently known as Nene Kanne Larweh (I), with the chieftaincy title Noryam Matse, that is, the Chief of Development (Konor-Odjam Weku) for the Manya Krobo tradational area met the paramount chief of the area, Nene Sikite (II) for the first time over the weekend.
During his enstoolment, Nene Sikite (II), who is the paramount chief of Manya Krobo was out of the country to deal with other equally important issues.
The enstoolment was therefore done by Nene Osomtse Narh (II), who is the Sipim of the Manya Krobo Traditional Area at a beautiful ceremony recently.
However, after Nene Sikite (II) landed in the country recently to celebrate his 25th anniversary of enstoolment as the paramount chief of the Manya Krobo traditional area, he finally asked to meet Sparqlyn who is currently the Noryam Matse of Krobo Odumase to give him his blessings as well.
At the royal meeting, Nene Sikite (II) congratulated Sparqlyn on his enstoolment and charged him to work assiduously to bring development to the town.
The paramount chief of Manya Krobo also asked Sparqlyn to ensure that the youth of the community are empowered and that they take their education, be it formal or informal, seriously and work hard to make something better out of their lives.
In his response to this important call, Sparqlyn also known as the Noryam Matse of the Manya Krobo area promised to do his best and work tirelessly to make the traditional area one of the best in Ghana by working with other sub-chiefs to assist the young achieve their aims.
