Two years ago, Team Dj Lord launched an annual campus tour with its first stop being his alma mater, GTUC, with the aim of ushering students into a time of distressing with unadulterated enjoyment. Unfortunately, like all other good things, the COVID-19 pandemic brought this experience to an abrupt halt.

This year however, the DJ LORD campus experience has resumed, and the Accra Technical University was the first school on the tour list. Headlined by one of the forerunners on Ghana’s dancehall scene-Shatta Wale, this event was to welcome students back to school after a long period away.
Shatta Wale, being an energy god, did not hold back on delivering a spirited performance of some of his classics. Although it was an event to help students unwind, those in attendance were given the opportunity to listen to some very talented student-artistes as well.
The excitement escalated throughout the night, with back to back DJ sets by some of the country’s most skilled DJs in between the musical performances. It was impossible to stand still; the continually fist-pumping crowd was always moving and frolicking to the exciting music being served.
Furthermore, Mr. Drew, Lord Paper, Larusso, Kwame Yogot, Kofi Mole, Nautyca, Don Itchi, RJZ, $pacely are some of the acts who stormed the stage to the excitement of all in attendance. In addition to the artiste performances, DJ Lord delivered a thunderous set, and had all in sundry singing along, all night long.
This event was hosted by DJ Lord with support from Dope Concepts, ATU-SRC and Shaxi.
