After years of work and months of high anticipation, Ghanaian music group, R2bees has finally unleashed their 3rd studio album also named after the neighbourhood they grew up from boys to men, ‘Site 15’ in Tema, Ghana
The 15 tracks album collectively produced by Killbeat, Streetbeatz, Possigee and many other influential names is a whole body of work, ideas and experience put together to bring out the unique sound in each song.
Late last year, the group put out ‘Boys kasa’ as a lead song which is still among the top trending songs in Ghana with million views on YouTube.
‘Site 15’ is dominantly Highlife and Afrobeat composition, a culture the group has firmly represented over the years with songs like ‘Odo’, ‘Concert party’, Makoma’, ‘Over’, ‘Killin me softly’, ‘We dey vibe’ etc . Apart from ‘Boys kasa’ which has loads of artiste on it, the group featured only three artiste, Wizkid on ‘Straight from Mars’, Burna boy on ‘My Baby’ and the ‘CCTV’ man, King promise on ‘Pictures’.
