Awake Purified Water’s charity project wins Product Of The Year at 29th CIMG Awards

Awake Purified Water, a subsidiary of Kasapreko Company Limited has won “Product of the Year” at the just ended 29th edition of Chartered Institute Of Marketing Ghana (CIMG).
The award scheme which seeks to acknowledge individuals and organisations for their marketing excellence and innovations in the marketing field, pulled together quite a number of companies and corporate affiliates.

The awards had 6 categories including CIMG Hall of Fame, Personalities, Media, Business, Product and the President’s Special Award. The event was held at the Accra International Conference Centre on 28th September 2018 under the theme ‘Marketing: A catalyst for driving Ghana Beyond Aid”, awarded creditable businesses.
Mr. Chris Addo-Sarkodie, Marketing and Sales Manager for Awake Purified Drinking water speaking to the media indicated that, “we’re elated for this awards us an outfit this means a lot for us and our cherish customers who have contributed in the version of Awake Purified Water.”
“Customers should continue to patronize Awake purified water to aid the Cardiothoracic Center of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital”, Mr. Chris Addo-Sarkodie added.
Awake Purified Drinking Water, Ghana’s first charity driven water, has since January 2016 donated and resources the National Cardiothoracic Center.
Commenting on the award win, Director of Water and CSD’s at Kasapreko Company Limited producers of Awake Purified Drinking Water; Mrs. Eunice Adjei Bonsu described how honouring it is to be recognized as the product of the year above many powerful brands in the country (not limiting to other competitive water brands) by the CIMG. “Awake water has over the years since inception embarked on several innovations geared at giving our trade partners and end consumers the needed ROI’s and experience respectively above a brand that provides Quality water.
It is the first water brand to have initiated a charity cause in Ghana which supports patients with heart disease and have since 2016 contributed over 800,000 GHC to The National Cardiothoracic Centre. We appreciate everyone in our route-to-market chain and with this award, dedicate it to our business partners who have supported us on this wonderful journey. We also thank our consumers for believing and accepting Awake Purified Drinking Water to be a home brand of Ghana. We will continue to deliver exceptional innovations as we provide quality water to Ghanaians and support patients who need medical assistance.”
Awake Purified Drinking Water is available in 19litres, 1.5litres, 750ml, 500ml and 330ml, available for purchase in all marts and shopping centres across Ghana.
