Da Governor rebrands to “Abban”, drops first single “Agoro”

Prolific Ghanaian Reggae Singer, formerly known as “Da Governor” has rebranded to new name “Abban”. Coming with his new name change is his affiliation with Nima-based Irie Ites Studio’s Management. First official single he releases under the new Management is titled “Agoro”, an Akan word that translates into “play” (love play).

The song is a locally brewed lovers’ rock song that relates with the ordinary Ghanaian lover in the streets who best connects with the local dialect. This song is tipped to be a maiden cut that will properly cement his face and new brand into the Ghanaian music space as one of the promising Reggae Musicians the country would produce that will hit mainstream national and international recognition.
