Malica has always been musically gifted. From a young age, she was singing and performing. Malicais a songstress that cannot be limited by musical stereotypes. She is an artist who adapts and masters all genres seamlessly.
Growing up, Malica’s father had one of Kingston, Jamaica’s most popular sounds, ‘Love Vibration Disco,’ and like many children influenced daily by a plethora of music and musicians, Malica’s musical destiny was inevitable.
As a writer, Malica has shared writing sessions with a multitude of talents such as Jennifer Hudson, Lamb, Anesha & Antea of APLUS, Kymani Marley, Farruko, and more. She has recorded tracks for a variety of producers including the prolific Sly and Robbie, Steven “Lenky” Marsden, Maffio, Gordon “Commissioner Gordon” Williams, DJ Abdel, Lamb Track, Bink Dawg, Hottrack, Jam 2, JonJon, Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Seanizzle and Tony Kelly.
Throughout the course of her musical career, Malica has won over the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life; performing at a variety of venues such as Universal Studios, Hard Rock Café and House Of Blues. She has also graced the stage at Miami’s annual ‘Best Of The Best’ concert and shared the spotlight with acts ranging from Buju Banton and Shaggy, to Nick Cannon, Tory Lanez, Mavado and Snoop Dogg.
She is currently making loads of public appearances, all the while recording new music.
