Cape coast is the place to be this weekend for the much anticipated Oguaa Fetu Afahye by the natives of Oguaa and it’s environs.
As part of activities to mark this year’s celebration,music group Gallaxy will be in the central regional capital for three days, from Friday 1st, to Sunday,3rd September for a mega live performance back to back at Becky Kay Pub & Restaurant among others.
According to the ‘Papa Bi’ hitmakers who recently released a contemporary Highlife classic,’My prayer’ with Kofi Kinaata,their decision to be part of this year festival has been long coming and they can’t wait their fans and also interact with them.
They also added that, as a group that preaches and projects African culture,values in their songs and brand identity everyday,it is their partial responsibility to also promote traditional annual celebrations like Oguaa Fetu Afahye celebrated every year to mark the end of slavery and also thank God for another successful year.
Gallaxy is one of Ghana’s prominent music group with multiple hit songs to their credit. They are currently trading their career under the joint management of LYF Ent and Gallaxy music.
