A section of the Ghanaian public now knows what is keeping one of the vibrant music group in Ghana, Gallaxy together.
The group’s lead singer, Kwesi David Adjewoda, known in music circles as Kwesi Dav, on Saturday, made some interesting revelations when he was hosted by Samuel Baah Flex on ‘Entertainment City’ live on Atinka TV together with Joshua of Keche to basically talk about music groups and what keeps them going.
According to Kwesi Dav, they started as friends over twelve years ago in Ashaiman, a suburb of Accra where they grew up. They later discovered their potentials and started learning, relating more till they started professionally in 2012.
He also reveals that a music group is like being in a love relationship; you have to share your mutual woes and respect your differences.
He added that they disagree and agree everytime during production but later come back to agree on what is the best for the and the music lovers out there.
He also told Sammy Flex that, the effort of the management team at Harbour City Recordz has also been acting professionally not to bring any conflict in the line of their duty as musicians.
He agreed music groups come with their own challenges but that is what they choose to do for the rest of their life.
He however cautioned the up and coming ones not to be scared of forming music group. It’s the matter of getting connected with the right person.
Gallaxy as a group has been on the music scene since 2012 under the management of Harbour City Recordz and last year won Jigwe Music group of the year. They have nominations both home and abroad with a catalogue of good songs to their credit.
The group made up of Kwesi Dav and rapper Bra Chiky is on record to have told NyDj in Kumasi that they will never break up until corruption ends in Africa.
