Octopizzo had planned to release an album every year on August 8th, a pattern that he had hoped to start with his last album, ‘LDPC’, Long Distance Paper Chasers.
As fans are still buzzing from his latest release, Utanisho, which he just dropped today, August 23rd,, Ruby caught up with him to discuss a couple things, starting off with a QnA session from fans.
They discuss his previous single ‘Butere’ and his fear of releasing the track, how much he charges for features, his belief that female artists need a male cosign in order to be accepted, beef in the industry and on his feud with fellow rapper Khaligraph, Octo says that he is “All the way up”…
He airs his opinion on what he terms “cheap rappers” and how they aren’t strict enough and name drops the other rapper he currently respects.
On a lighter note, he talks his favorite meal by his wife, exotic locations for vacation with her, what he drinks these days, the kind of car he drives and since he used to fix cars before his rap career kicked off, does he fix his own?
They wrapped up the interview with the million dollar question: How much money do you make?
