Having done remarkable presentations at the Accra City Hotel and participating in the Siao International Art & Craft Fair in Burkina Faso, artist; Bright Kofi Awuyah is set to inspire people from all parts of the world through an art exhibition titled “A Dawn of Progression” at Alliance Française Accra Exhibition Hall from Wednesday 3rd August to Tuesday 30th August, 2016.
“A dawn of progression” is packaged to elevate, highlight and expose the works of a young and talented artist to the entire world. Kofi Awuyah believes that young artists can stand on top of the competition and not just be part of it. And ultimately, this can only be done through hard work.
“A dawn of progression” demonstrates art as a vision, dream and a transformative system of human expressions. Bright Kofi Awuyah, through this exhibition, looks forward to inspire people from all parts of the world to celebrate young talents. This will allow art enthusiasts to look beyond the face value of his works and also make art lovers appreciate this well-crafted collections which have been birthed from his experiences, emotions, imaginations and fervent anticipation of the future.
This project is also to call on the government to give much attention to the Art Industry in Ghana. The government must lend support to young people who invest their time and energy into arts and also encourage others aspiring to take arts as their future career. This vocation, if taken seriously, can generate income to the nation in a major way.
The exhibition which will run from 3rd August to 30th August, 2016 will begin with an opening ceremony and cocktail on Wednesday, 3rd August at 6pm at Alliance Française Accra Exhibition hall.
An average of 50 canvases will be displayed daily at the exhibition hall until the end of this project on Tuesday 30th August, 2016 at 6:00 pm.
