The name Daniel Opare would not be familiar to the many patrons of music and club scene in Worcester, MA. But, mention DJ Wyse and many would easily recognize the man who has been spinning records within that area for decades.

The Ghanaian born, Worcester resident DJ Wyse’s career started way back in Ghana but was not until in 2006 that he went professional. Currently running a successful music production company called SoundCheck in the US with branches in Ghana, DJ Wyse doubles also as one of the official DJ’s for CodeGreen Music.

DJ Wyse’s musical catalogue is nothing short of impressive. He has worked with top notch African artistes such as Nigerian Pop sensation P-Square, Ghanaian superstars like Sarkodie, Bisa Kdei and Uganda’s Jose Chameleon among many others. As a member of CodeGreen, DJ Wyse has worked with the likes of Uzi, Fusha, Blockopoly and Bizell.

A good DJ is defined by not only his skills behind the DJ set but his versatility and exposure, musically. These are qualities that defines DJ Wyse, who thanks to his desire to travel is able to bring musical influences from other parts of the world to bear on his playlist. It is therefore, not surprising that he is able to musically satisfy every audience he plays for.

From playing in all the hot clubs in the Worcester County area and other parts of the world to organizing parties in his resident city, DJ Wyse has found a way to entertain people but also put his name out there as the ‘go to’ DJ for all events. And as the summer approaches, party heads might hear DJ Wyse’s name in a club near them.
