Wanlov the Kubolor and Mensah (FOKN Bois) kick start the year with a ‘FOKN party’ featuring some of their some of their favourite acts on Saturday, 27th February, 2016 at Alliance Française Accra.
Fokn Party is a concert been organized by a duo; Wanlov the Kubolor and Mensah for their fans; Fokn Snows as they call them to enjoy their ‘Gospel Porn’ as well as music from other artistes they love. The two, popularly known as FOKN Bois are the most celebrated Ghanaian music duo in the world due to their most unconventional way of entertaining with ingeniously tasteful shock lyrics, revolutionary performance and progressive afro sounds.
The event is the first edition of a habitual concert they intend to use to officially launch a regular physical connection with their Ghanaian fans that according to them are an inspiration and have a great time performing for them in Ghana.
The two, who tour the world often and hardly get to perform home for their Ghanaian fans to see want to give them the pleasure of seeing them do so in a remarkable way.
Performing for the night is; Sena Dagadu, female voice behind VVIP’s hit song “Skolom”, who brings her energy from Budapest, Joey B the hitmaker an amazing discography and Pappy Kojo popularly known as ‘the Fanti Rap Van Damne’.
The concert will be hosted by FOKN Bois. MC for the night is Sister Deborah aka ‘African Mermaid’, popularly known for her single(music) which was recorded and released in 2012 entitled ‘Uncle Obama’ referring to Barack Obama and currently the host of The Late Nite Celebrity Show program broadcast by television network ETV GHANA.
The event will take place at the Amphitheatre of Alliance Française Accra on Saturday, 27th February, 2016 at 7pm.
