My Brand Target Is beyond Nominations and Awards – eShun

Artiste of the Year for the Central Music Awards eShun has stated that her music brand is beyond awards. She said this on Facebook live, replying to an earlier post on Facebook. ‘I put everything into this journey, a brilliant performer, an awesome vocalist I am very discouraging these things that are happening. I QUIT.’

The statement begged a lot of questions with some suggesting that she was somehow peeved at the fact that she was declined a nomination for the upcoming VGMA’s hence the post. But the SomeOne Loves Me hit maker said, “My music journey is actually bigger than this, why would I say I quit music, because I didn’t get a nomination from VGMA. That doesn’t make sense.”

“What’s the guarantee that when an artiste gets a nomination they will win that category?’ eShun quizzed on her Facebook Page LIVE (Facebook.com/eShunonline).

“I didn’t ever say anywhere that I quit music. Won’t quit for any other award scheme in the world for that matter; it’s important to know what you have and where you are headed and I know.” eShun added.

In response to a question by one of the viewers concerning what she hopes to achieve in her career, the electrifying songstress  said she believes she has the best voice in Africa and that she wants to inspire minds and hearts of Africans in particular and the world at large.

The UNCHR High Level Supporter against Statelessness – West Africa, eShun added, “I want my brand to be known and loved by about 50 percent of Africans by the seventh year in my music career, so help me God!”

She also sung her latest reggae tune “Fa me Kor” to her more than 1000 Facebook Page LIVE viewers. She encouraged her fans who are disappointed to cheer up since there are more amazing works she will be putting out soon to inspire and entertain them.

“I believe I work really hard but according to VGMA board they feel others worked harder than I did, so maybe at the right time VGMA will see my works and if they feel I deserve to be nominated and awarded they will nominate and award me”, eShun told her viewers on Facebook LIVE.

The Quophimens Musiq Signed Artiste, eShun, is working on her debut album ‘Untamed’ which was postponed due to the passing of the late Ebony Reigns.

Vacs jingled with “Vacs onit” is largely a self-taught singer, music producer & engineer based in Ghana. His insatiable love for music started about a decade ago; playing the drums and keyboard in church, he began to explore sound production. Along the years he discovered and developed the art of singing, primarily to record vocals on the beats he produced. Through self-education and experimentation he began to mix his own songs, and has since developed over the years to do exceptionally well in that field.

Vacs’ most significant feat went down when he was singled out as one of the producers on MTN Hitmaker Season 3 in 2013. With nods from, ace presenter, Bola Ray and industry artistes and producers such as Okyeame Kwame, Hammer of  “The Last 2”, Raquel, just to mention a few, he started gaining attention.

Through his exceptional performance in the MTN Hitmaker series,  he secured many song placement deals with Farmhouse production,  the production company behind the Hit TV series “YOLO”.  His song “Somebody” is one of the favorites songs  in the TV series, and has since received massive airplay across radio stations in Ghana.

He has worked with industry giants such as Sarkodie, Joey B,  Vvip,  Kwaw kese,  Magnom, Shatta Wale just to mention a few.

He is the producer behind Kwawkese’s “Odo adaada me” ,DjLord’s “Sokolala”and is also credited and responsible for the mix of  “Grind”,  the hit single of Dj Vision ft AI ,  Darkovibes’ Tomorrow & Mercy hit single ,  A.I.’s Moving On among others.

Vacs is completely captivated by Highlife and absorbed by Afrobeats. Whether just for his own enjoyment or for public consumption, he likes to create beats or records to capture a likeness and sound in his mind. Regardless of the process during creation, the end result should be a true expression and observation in his mind’s eye.

He loves to talk about love, devotion and passion in his music. From time to time he varies his subject matter and style with whatever vibes he’s feeling; whether untamed party theme songs, braggadocio hip hop records, inspirational and reflective music, Vacs is up for that challenge.

Australia based Ghanaian Gospel star Jay Peacock out with “Spiritual Commando”

Australia based Ghanaian Gospel singer and songwriter Jay Peacock is back with a powerful potential Gospel banger, titled “Spiritual Commando”.

Jay Peacock desire is to empower believers and create awareness about the spiritual authority to command, speak, or decree a thing for it to be established (Job 22:28), for life and death lies in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21).

“’Spiritual Commando’ encourages you to speak peace, command freedom, breakthrough, healing, prosperity, long-life, marriage, business, contracts and your Visa into being. Son of man speak unto the dry bones to come to life. Any dead situation, disappointments, cancer, and every evil enchantment against your life, against your family, speak fire to set them to blaze. Decree and declare, the universe awaits your manifestation, arise, shine, prophesy to the dry bones to live again, #EnoughIsEnough,” Jay Peacock explained in an interview.

Jay further stated that it is unfortunate that today, many believers leave their lives at the mercies of individuals who profess to be “men of God” who make these vulnerable believers think that their lives depend on the fake prophecies that are full of fear tactics and deceits.

He says, “It is time for the believer to know his/her authority and exercise this authority by commanding his/her way to freedom, success, and happy life wherever and whenever!”
