Accra Fashion Week CR18 Scheduled For March 29th – April 1st

March is set to bring us another exciting set of fabulous designs from both local and foreign designers in the Chilly Rainy edition of Accra Fashion Week taking place from March 29th – April 1st. Designers will be showcasing designs catered for the cool season to follow in the few months shortly after.
The theme of the edition is titled ‘Strictly Business’, and targets a cool and classy audience that are currently intune with fashion and seeking the latest styles by African designers. Accra Fashion Week aims to continue to bridge the gap between the public and African designers via providing a professional and mind blowing creative platform to expose their designs.
The objective is to encourage and work along designers not only to prove to the public the quality and standards of fashion by our own talents are unmatcchable, but to also provide a quick and easier access to the garments and establish trends on the continent of Africa.
The Summer Harmattan edition dubbed Accra Fashion Week SH17 which took place this October made another year of ground breaking history, when it hosted over 150 fashion designers from over 20 countries, making it Africa’s most international fashion show ever, with a guest performance by Ghana’s number one songstress Ebony Reigns.

Agbeshie – Adjust (Prod. by Sonoh)

After a long winding year with various twists and turns on the grind, Agbeshie, signed Rapper to One Phame Entertainment feels the strategy that kept him on the grind till the year is about to close is due to the fact that he was able to #Adjust to every situation that befalls him. This new one he releases is produced by Sonoh to close in the year.

The rising Rapper has worked really hard this year when he got signed to a new Management. His previously released song #Original has shot him to some new and different heights of his career and has performed that banger alongside other released cuts like #GbonyFace, #Beyonce etc to keep himself on the scene. Deon Boakye releases “Ooosh” music video

It’s official – Hardboy Music record label frontman, Deon Boakye has finally released the music video for his latest jam “Ooosh”.The slow tempo Afro-pop record which was produced by Willis Beatz basically talks about having a day-long fun with especially intimate partners.

And, the music video directed Benn Koppoe depicts just that.

Shot in an undisclosed luxurious mansion in Accra, “Ooosh” music video is guaranteed to put you in the party mood throughout this festive season.

Deon Boakye also assured fans to expect more jams next year including a collaboration with self-acclaimed ‘90s Badgyal’, Ebony Reigns.

DJ Mensah Drops Two Songs Off Upcoming Album

The Untouchable DJ Mensah releases two new singles off his upcoming album which is set to be out few days from now.
These latest releases, dubbed, “Dance Floor” features the current top High Life artiste Bisa Kdei, and “Say I Do” featuring Ghana’s top rapper Sarkodie

Just like the title, DanceFloor with multiple award winning musician Bisa Kdei is a danceable song which doesnt just have a party groove, but carries a message that will put you in the mood of moving your feet. Highlife meets the street.This is an instant hit

Video: Zed Ay Kay – Deliverance ft. Singlet

If you are a fan of music that has cryptic messages, I’m sure Zed Ay Kay is one of the artists you’ll enjoy listening to. Weeks after dropping his single ‘Deliverance’ off his forthcoming ”Versatility” album, the much anticipated visuals for this banging tune is out now.

Directed by Wanlov the Kubolor, it was shot in different locations within the Sekondi-Takoradi metropolis and features, Singlet who is originally a ‘Taadi’ boy. Using everyday locations, director, Wanlov brought an interesting concept to life by giving you clues with which to decipher the message in the song (if you are successful, please let me know).

The visuals are friendly to the eyes and you are will not be cringing at any of the scenes as Wanlov proves that he knows his job. Zed Ay Kay and Singlet bring the ‘Taadi’ in them to life and make watching the video worth it.

Who would have thought an iPhone camera (yes, you read right) teamed up with a man who knows how to work it, two dudes with ‘Taadi’ roots and a model who knows her job could bring to life such magic? Just check it out yourself here.

Ruff Town  Records signed artiste,Ebony reigns has unleashed a new song,”Maame hw3″ as a follow up to her top trending song,”Hustle” featuring label mate,Brella. The song which comes with a beautiful video is campaign against domestic violence  and female brutality. Ebony is by face the top selling artiste in the country at the moment with many hit singles to her records.

She is expected to officially release her debut album,”Bonified” in the days to come.

Ghanaian Act, Imani N.A.D released his much anticipated ‘OLIVIA’ mixtape across all music digital platforms.After weeks of speculations, Zone Three 6 Records frontliner, Imani N.A.D yesterday gave a confirmation of the release date via his Instagram account by posting #OLIVIA 08.12.17.
After releasing series of singles this year, OLIVIA highlights what has been an amazing year for the young artiste.

Since releasing his attention-grabbing ‘el fuego’ early this year, Imani has constantly progressed in a carefully plotted step with releases of ‘Wole’ and ‘With You’. Imani N.A.D followed his biggest hit to date with his debut Mixtape album OLIVIA which arrived last Friday.
