Paa Kwesi Refuses Ennwai Tickets to Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.


Yes! Defunct music duo, Dobble’s popular Highlife song, ‘Christy’ made it to this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

The powerful song produced by Danny Beatz made it to the ‘Vodafone Song Of The Year’ category and the duo were expected to be that the awards on Saturday 8th April,2017 at the Accra International Conference Centre.


However, on pronouncing Dobble as winners of the category, only Paa Kwesi came up on stage to receive the award and thanked their loyal fans for the support.

Cross-checks with Ennwai has revealed that Charter House, the organizers of the awards handed all four tickets to Paa Kwesi but he has refused to release them to his former group member.

Prior to the start of the event, Ennwai had already posted on his Facebook wall that Paa Kwesi should cook and eat the awards if possible “Chew the tickets wai when u get there and they give u the award too put for plate top add stew and chop am..”
What came to many as a surprise was when Paa Kwesi even forgotten to acknowledge Ennwai’s contribution to the song.
