A survey conducted by communications expert and blogger, Frederick Noamesi revealed that Shatta wale and Sarkodie are likely to organize their own show, hence boycotting VGMA ceremony. The survey which was carefully conducted, ascertained that the propensity of the dancehall giant staging his own show is not subjected to doubt. It has strongly believed that, there would be re occurrence of last year when Shatta Wale simultaneously staged his own show as VGMA was ongoing.

Background

It was on record that, last year, Shatta Wale himself snubbed VGMA and had his own show. This year, VGMA had their share of the cake and snubbed him over what they described as disrespect to the awards scheme.

Best rapper, Sarkodie on his part last year also snubbed VGMA to support Shatta Wale even though he got nominated. His reason, the organizers of the awards scheme were not ready to meet his financial demands for performance.

The survey aimed at knowing if Ghanaians should expect a similar occurrence, took to the street through unstructured interview.Findings from the survey can establish that, many other artistes are likely to throw their weights behind Shatta Wale and Sarkodie in boycotting the VGMA ceremony on May 7, 2016.

It has also been revealed that, hiplife artiste Criss Waddle is likely to join his colleague and friend Shatta Wale.Frederick Noamesi is yet to make public the entire findings and recommendations for the benefit of the Ghana Music industry.Meanwhile, he is preparing to launch his own lifestyle show title ‘Live It’ which will be published on his blog, www.fredericknoamesi.com
