Looks like a very packed show already for Rocky Dawuni this Friday, December 18th at Alliance Française.  The first Ghanaian Grammy nominee, Rocky Dawuni, soon after touch down in Ghana on Monday, December 14 has confirmed another music heavyweight, SAMINI, to bless the stage with him at the concert.  Samini who just released a new album “Breaking News” was the only Ghanaian/Musician featured on Rocky Dawuni’s album “Branches of the Same Tree” which got nominated for the 58th edition of The Grammys.  Wiyaala, one of the indigenous voices who has also had a very good year (in Ghana and abroad, playing several gigs and winning multiple awards) is also one of the headline acts supporting Rocky Dawuni in concert at Alliance Française.

According to Rocky Dawuni, there are some other surprise acts (of great repute to Ghana) who will grace the stage with him but he would love to keep the rest a secret.  Rocky Dawuni urges all to come with their Ghana flags to bless the occasion – more of a national parade to strengthen unity and patriotism through his music and the “Branches of the Same Tree” album (that got nominated for The Grammys).  Event tickets are going for just GHC 20, at the venue.
